Alexander Povalko
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
Alexander Povalko graduated from Ordzhonikidze Moscow Aviation Institute with a Specialist degree in Radio Engineering (1992) and Maymonid State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics (1996). He worked as a Senior Consultant of Evaluation Department, a Project Director, and a Director for Business Development at PACC consultancy firm (1994-2007), a Director for Strategic Planning at RENOVA Stroy Group CJSC (2007-2008). In 2008-2012 he held deputy head positions at the State Committee for Youth Affairs and at the Federal Agency of Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation. In 2012 A. Povalko was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
